Acupuncture is a traditional healing method that uses very fine, sterile needles placed at specific points on the body to restore balance, improve circulation, and stimulate natural healing.

Acupuncture is commonly used for:
• Pain relief (back, neck, shoulder, knee, arthritis)
• Headaches and migraines
• Stress, anxiety, insomnia
• Digestive problems
• Women’s health (fertility, PMS, menopause)
• Allergies and immune support

Most patients feel little to no pain. You may feel a light pinch or tingling sensation when the needle is inserted, followed by a sense of relaxation.

It’s normal for certain acupuncture points to feel more sensitive, achy, or heavy than others. This may happen because:
• The area has muscle tension, tightness, or stagnation of blood/energy.
• The point is strongly connected to your condition and is being “activated.”
• Your body is adjusting to the treatment.

This soreness usually fades quickly and often indicates that the point is working.

Yes. Both are safe when performed by a licensed practitioner. We use sterile, single-use needles and apply proper hygiene for cupping.

It depends on your condition and goals. Some patients notice relief after 2-3 visits(mostly), while chronic issues may require regular treatments over several weeks.

• Eat a light meal (don’t come on an empty stomach).
• Wear loose, comfortable clothing.
• Avoid alcohol or heavy caffeine before treatment.

You may feel relaxed, energized, or relieved of pain. Some people feel temporary soreness, tiredness, or light marks from cupping—these are normal and fade quickly. Staying hydrated and resting is recommended.

Most of insurance plans cover acupuncture (sometimes cupping too). Please check with your provider or our clinic for details.

Yes. They safely complement Western medicine, physical therapy, massage, chiropractic, and herbal medicine.
